Why do you need a $5,000 deposit to secure our place on the guest list?
The hotels we use in Europe are the finest available and to secure the amount of premium rooms we need we must prepay in advance and supply them with a final room count prior to the start of the tour.

Do you accept credit cards for the deposit?
Yes, we accept credit cards to pay the deposit.

Is there any advantage to sending in my deposit early?
Absolutely. Our Porsche 911 allocation in Germany is based on the order in which you register and we received your deposit. It is advisable to register early so you are one of the first to choose your Porsche 911 at the start of the tour. Please Note: All the cars in our fleet are the latest model Porsche 911 Carrera’s available however we cannot guarantee a particular model such as Carrera S or 4S.

Is the deposit refundable?
Each of our Luxury European Driving Tours have a $5,000 per couple deposit requirement which is non-refundable. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance with trip cancelation coverage to protect your deposit. We can provide you with the required information to obtain a travel insurance policy.

Terms and Conditions
This information is very important, please read it carefully. It is the responsibility of the traveler to read and agree to these Terms and Conditions before registering or making payment for any tours.
Autobahn Adventures acts as an agent for any hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (Suppliers). Autobahn Adventures is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules. In the unlikely event that the services and accommodations set forth herein cannot be supplied, or in the event there is a deviation in the itinerary due to causes beyond the control of Autobahn Adventures, we will supply comparable accommodations or services and no refund will be made. The suppliers or independent contractors providing transportation, accommodations and all other services are not agents or employees of Autobahn Adventures. By utilizing the services of all suppliers, the traveler agrees that neither Autobahn Adventures, nor any representatives shall be liable for any accident, injury, including loss of life, damage, loss, delay, irregularity or expenses arising from acts of God, strikes, war, weather, quarantines, epidemic or pandemic, sickness, terrorist activity, government restrictions or regulations, from any act or omission of any individual, firm, or corporation furnishing transportation, sight-seeing, accommodations, or any services in connection with such travel plans or from any other occurrences whatsoever. All such expenses or losses are the responsibility of the traveler. By commencing travel, the traveler willingly assumes all risks and responsibilities expected or unexpected involved with such travel. We urge purchase of travel insurance to protect against such risks, including tour cancellation due to unanticipated events.
Tour Prices: Current tour prices are listed with each tour but are subject to change with the fluctuation of international currencies, supplier increases, fuel and other surcharges and other reasons beyond our control, until full payment is received. Each tour lists the items that are included in that specific tour. Please refer to the tour itinerary you are joining for pricing and inclusions.
Costs Not Included in The Tour Price: Those items not listed in the itinerary may, including but not limited to the following: personal items including phone calls, room service, laundry, excess kilometers, meals and beverages other than those included in itinerary; Health, Accident, Baggage and Trip Cancellation Insurance; optional attractions and any other services not listed in the tour itinerary.
Air Transportation: International air transportation is not included in the price of the tour. You are required to secure your own air arrangements to arrive in time to start the tour. Fuel or baggage related fees charged by an airline and government taxes/fees are responsibility of the individual traveler.
Land Transportation: Self-drive vehicles may be provided by PORSCHE Holdings SE and/or other vendors (the Company reserves the right to select the vendor and to make reservations based on a supplier’s projected vehicle availability at the time of the planned tour). By accepting the vehicle made available to you through the services of the Company, you acknowledge your awareness and understanding that YOU MAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRIVE AT SPEEDS FAR IN EXCESS OF THOSE ALLOWED IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, OR OTHER COUNTRY WITH WHICH YOU HAVE NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE OR FAMILIARITY, AND YOU THEREFORE ACCEPT SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF YOUR DRIVING SUCH VEHICLE DURING THE TOUR.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Please refer to each tour for respective deposit requirements. Deposits for a tour can be made by credit card or check. Payment by check is not considered cleared until funds have been received by issuing bank. Payment by credit card will incur a processing fee of 3.5% of the amount paid by credit card. Direct deposits and bank transfers can be arranged.
Final Payment: Final payment for a tour can be made credit card, wire transfer or check. Payment by check is not considered cleared until funds have been received by issuing bank. Payment by credit card will incur a processing fee of 3.5% of the amount paid by credit card. Final payments are due 120 days prior to the start of the tour unless stipulated otherwise for a specific tour. Final payment date will be included on your invoice. Final payments are non-refundable.
Changes to Reservation: Once final payment has been made, all change requests must be received in writing. Autobahn Adventures is subject to the rules and change fees of third party suppliers and thus change requests are not guaranteed. If a change is possible, all fees by the supplier will be added to the reservation cost.
Cancellation: Deposits received for our driving tours are non-refundable. The final, non-refundable balance is due 120 days prior to the start date of the tour.
Trip Cancellation, Health, Accident, Medical Evacuation & Baggage Insurance: For your protection comprehensive travel insurance with trip cancellation is highly recommended and in the best interest of each traveler, to protect you before and during the trip. Travel insurance is the responsibility of each traveler and is not included in the price of the tours. We can recommend and give you a direct link to an excellent travel insurance provider.
Transportation and Transfers: The type of transportation varies by destination, group size, and dates. Airport transfers are included in the price of the tour. In the event you miss a scheduled departure for any tour, transfer or event, it is your responsibility to arrange transportation to the next arrival/departure point or hotel to begin or rejoin the scheduled tour/itinerary. No refunds will be issued for missed transportation or delayed arrival.
Baggage: Autobahn Adventures will transport one bag or suitcase per person up to 50 lbs during the driving tour.
Photography, Video & Testimonials: Any likeness or image of you secured or taken on any of our tours may be used by Autobahn Adventures without charge in all media (whether now existing or in the future invented) for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes, including without limitation promotional materials of any type such as brochures, slides, video shows or the internet. Any written feedback supplied to the company may also be used for promotional purposes as detailed above.
Responsibility of Autobahn Adventures: The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of this Agreement, or the invalidity of its application to a specific situation or circumstance, shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this Agreement, or its application to other situations or circumstances.
Responsibility of Traveler: Any provision of this Agreement held invalid or unenforceable only in part or degree will remain in full force and effect to the extent not held invalid or unenforceable.
Claims or Disputes/Arbitration: In the event of a dispute or claim made by the traveler concerning, relating or referring to this Agreement, promotion of tour, tour inclusions, performance of Autobahn Adventures or any claim made against Autobahn Adventures. Autobahn Adventures will make every effort to resolve said dispute or claim between the individual parties involved. If the dispute or claim cannot be resolved between the traveler and Autobahn Adventures, the traveler agrees that any dispute or claim shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration according to the then existing rules of the American Arbitration Association in an arbitration conducted in, and governed by the laws of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In connection with any action or legal proceeding arising out of this Agreement, the parties hereby specifically and knowingly waive any rights that either party might have to demand a jury trial.
Upon making a deposit to Autobahn Adventures, you constitute full knowledge, acceptance and consent by the participant to all provisions in the tour itinerary; the website, General Information, Terms and Conditions and the Registration Form.

What if we are unable to make the tour?
We highly recommend taking out travel insurance with trip cancellation which may provide you with a full refund should you have to cancel. We can provide you with information about purchasing a travel insurance policy.

Is gas included for the tour?
Yes, gas, tolls and parking are included for the planned itinerary.

Is there an extra charge for a single?
Our prices are per person based on double occupancy ( two people sharing one car and one room ). Should you decide to travel alone there is an additional $6,000 single supplement for our fall driving tours. The supplement is to cover the cost of the car and rooms for your individual use. A single option is not available for our Monaco Formula 1 tours. Please contact us for more information.

Is the airfare included in the price?
We have people joining us from all over the world so the airfare is not included in the price. Everyone makes their own way, via the airline of their choice, to Germany where our tours start and finish.

Is alcohol included on the tour?
Yes, fine wines and beer are served at every dinner.

What is included in the price of the tour?
The price of the tour is per person and is based on double occupancy ( two people sharing a car and a room ) and includes unlimited use of the Porsche 911, gas, tolls and car insurance for the planned itinerary. All your luxurious accommodations in the finest hotels in Europe. Gourmet meals including wine and beer. Entry into the spa facilities at each hotel. Visits to selected attractions along the planned route. Travel bag with a detailed road book, Autobahn Adventures polo shirts, cap etc.

How can I reduce the effects of jetlag?
Most of our guests arrive at least one day early for our tours so they are refreshed and ready for the start of the tour.

Do I need to book a hotel if I come early?
We always have a block of rooms reserved at our base hotels in Germany for anyone who would like to arrive early or stay later. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

What is the weather like in Europe during our driving tours?
Over the past 15 years we have found the months of May / June and September / October to have the best weather for our driving tours. The average temperature is normally between 65 – 75 F with very little chance of rain however we do recommend that you be prepared with a light jacket.

What is the dress code for the tour?
The dress code for our tours is casual with the occasional formal dinner. When driving around Europe we want you to be as comfortable as possible. We have our own private rooms for dinners so we can dress as we like however it is advisable to bring at least one formal outfit.

How much luggage should I bring?
We will supply you with a packing list prior to the tour to assist you with what to pack. We use a luggage truck to transport your luggage to each hotel so it is waiting in your room when you check in.

Can I use my ATM cards in Europe?
Yes, this is the best way to get cash. ATM machines are available everywhere we go. Check with your bank to see if your cards are accepted in Europe.

Do the hotels have internet access?
All our hotels are the finest available in Europe and have WIFI available.

What kind of car will I be driving?
For all our Luxury European Driving Tours we use the latest model Porsche 911 Carrera’s. You have a choice of Coupe or Cabriolet with a PDK transmission. Specific model type is not guaranteed and is based on availability from Porsche. The cars are allocated at the start of the tour based on the order we receive your registration form and deposit. You have exclusive use of the car for the entire planned itinerary. Each of our tours include gas, full insurance, tolls and additional kilometers above what is planned to allow you do do some extra sightseeing if you choose.

Can I drive in Europe with my normal drivers license?
Yes, in all the countries we visit you can use your normal driver’s license

Do we have to stay in a group or drive behind a tour guide?
On our Luxury European Driving Tours you do not have to stay together as a group but you can if you want to. All our Porsche 911’s have the latest on-board touch screen navigation systems which are pre-programmed with our entire route to guide you to the next luxury hotel or attraction. Our tours are designed to be flexible and unrestricted. We do not limit your driving on the Autobahn or mountain roads and you do not have to stay behind a guide car. In between hotels we give you the opportunity to see the things that you want to see. This is your vacation so we want you to have the best experience possible.

How fast can I drive the car?
Some of our driving is in Germany on the world famous Autobahn which has unrestricted sections that allow you to drive your Porsche 911 at very high speeds. The average speed on the Autobahn is approx 120 kph but in the unrestricted sections and depending on traffic conditions the cars are capable of 250 kph or more. However in Switzerland, Austria and Italy the speed limit is 120 kph which is strictly enforced.

Is the price the same if only one person drives?
The price is per person and is based on two people sharing one car and one room during the tour. The price does not change if only one person drives the car or both people drive the car.

Is there a minimum age to drive?
Yes. You must be at least 25 years old to drive with a current drivers license.
